The Curse: A teenage Horror

So this month I’m going to have 50 review copies up for grab to reviewers that love books that is not for the light hearted.
THE CURSE follows two twins. Emily and Melanie. They are about 15, 16 years old and moved to a small town. The house itself is creepy, but the attic even more. And Melanie, who is the troubled twin, is drawn to artsy things.
A dream catcher up in the attic has caught her attention and she basically took it as her own, revived it and hung it on her wall, as everyone know that Dream Catchers are supposed to ward off nightmares, but this Dream Catcher is actually quite the opposite.
It was a fun book to read and actually a scary one too that for some reason I couldn’t write at nights. It really has great comments on all the online stores and if you want to grab a copy, you can do so now.
EXCERPT OF THE CURSE
EMILY
The first week in our new home flew by.
I didn’t tell Mom about the creepy dreamcatcher from the attic that hung in Mel’s room.
I discovered the more I left her alone, the better it was all around. If she truly wanted to be left alone, then I wouldn’t bother her anymore.
I sighed. I shouldn’t feel like this about Mel. She was my twin, for crying out loud.
School wasn’t that bad for me, but Mel had instigated two fights already and had managed to insert herself into the wrong crowd again.
Keith was going to love that.
I’d quickly made friends with Dina, a Powhatan girl who had the most beautiful head of raven hair I had ever seen on someone. She was a stunner and just as smart as me. She was a bit obsessed with virtual reality apps, and her headset was practically glued onto her head.
“So, why is your sister so different from you? You’re twins but you’re nothing like each other.”
“It’s a long story,” I said as she walked me home. We were going to study together. “She thinks I betrayed her.”
“Oh. That can’t be easy to deal with.”
“Oh, she isn’t, believe me.”
When we reached my street, Dina stopped in her tracks.
I turned around and saw her staring up ahead. “You okay?”
“You live on this street?”
“Yeah. Why? Is there something wrong with this street?”
She shook her head, but I could tell she wasn’t telling me everything.
“What is it? Did something happen on this street?”
“It’s nothing. My grandfather’s just very superstitious, and something about this street always freaked him out.”
“Like what?”
She laughed. “I don’t even know.”
I joined in on her laughter even though I wasn’t totally feeling it. “Then I’m afraid you won’t like our house.”
“Why?”
“It’s a little creepy,” I said. “Okay, a lot. Mostly the attic.” I told her about the attic and what Mel had done. She listened and perked up when I told her about the dreamcatcher.
“Dreamcatchers are usually good. I should know.” Dina grinned.
“I know they’re supposed to ward off bad dreams, but something about this one freaks the hell out of me, and I can’t quite put my finger on it. Mel is absolutely in love with it. She’s always loved different, artsy things that nobody likes. I guess she always sees the beauty in everything. I don’t.”
“Can you show it to me?” Dina asked eagerly.
“I’ll try. She’s a very aggressive person and I fear for your life.”
She snorted. “It’s so weird hearing of twins not getting along.
